The negative perceptions of parents in using technology are evident through the research conducted via the link below, of what children will do when left alone with a tablet.  The downside of gaming application in the tablet will be the addictive nature of the game to complete the adventure, less social interactions and less physical play, which will hinder children’s social development, as well as their gross motor and fine motor skills. However, when parents use technology to enhance children’s learning by being selective of the technology to use and what to watch, then children will surely benefit in their learning. As we move to the era of advanced technology, we have seen the shift in the increase of technology usage in children’s learning. Advantages of Technology in Literacy: 1.     People use technology anywhere and everywhere.
